Brut Influence:
“Based on the 2011 vintage with 15% reserve wines from 2010, the Minière brothers’ NV Brut Influence was disgorged with five grams per liter dosage in June 2018. It’s showing beautifully, offering up aromas of fresh peach, preserved citrus and frangipane, framed by a light patina of oak from its fermentation in barrel. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, broad and vinous, with a muscular, layered profile underpinned by racy acids and complemented by a delicate mousse. Concentrated and intense, it concludes with a penetrating, saline finish.” 93 pts.

Brut Zéro:
“Disgorged without dosage in November 2018, Minière’s NV Brut Zéro mingles aromas of raspberry, yellow apple, gingerbread, peach and wheat toast. Full-bodied, racy and incisive, it’s the most tangy and precise of these new releases, but its spine of acidity is cloaked in ripe fruit. Deep and mineral, it’s based on the 2010 vintage with 19% reserve wines from 2009.” 93 pts.

Brut Blanc Absolu:
“The latest rendition of the NV Brut Blanc Absolu is based on the 2012 vintage, complemented by 18% reserve wines from 2011, and was vinified in wood without malolactic fermentation. Offering up a lovely bouquet of citrus oil, hazelnut, crisp green apple and wet stones, it’s full-bodied, vinous and intense, with a racy spine of acidity, superb depth at the core and a delicate mousse. Long and penetrating, this concentrated but weightless Blanc de Blancs is another brilliant wine. It was disgorged in November 2018 with 5.5 grams per liter dosage. The cuvée Blanc Absolu derives from two parcels of Chardonnay: an ungrafted plot planted in 1972 and another grafted parcel planted a year later.” 94 pts.

Brut Influence Rosé:
“Disgorged in December 2018 with 4.5 grams per liter dosage, the NV Brut Influence Rosé is based on the 2014 vintage with 21% reserve wines from 2013. Offering up aromas of fresh peach, raspberries, warm bread and ginger, it’s medium to full-bodied, racy and incisive, with a pinpoint mousse, tangy acids and a mineral finish.” 90 pts.
