Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune Bellis Perennis 2017, Claire Naudin
Region: Hâutes-Côtes, Burgundy
Production: lutte raisonnée, hand harvested, low sulphur, unfined & unfiltered
Bellis (daisy) comes from the domaine’s two best plots of Chardonnay: En Daisey located in the town of Magny lès Villers and En Bully in Pernand-Vergelesses. The wine remains on its lees for 12 months in 30% new oak.
The nose is beautifully complex, combining minerality, spice and citrus fruits. The palate is pure and well-structured with energetic acidity and a strong saline note.
